Chris Wright

Breaking news - Chris Wright is to join Leicestershire on a two- year contract at the end of this season.
This seems like a good move.  With young bowlers like Henry Brookes and Olly Stone coming through, he might increasingly have struggled for a place in the team.

I wonder if this means that Zak Chappell will be coming the other way (to us, rather than Notts) ?

Though, given what Surreyultra says about what a good all rounder prospect Douthwaite is, perhaps we don't want / need Chappell now ?

His dad tells me he's been offered a very good deal and that Leicester are desperate to return to div1, making Warley's comments look both unjustified and stupid!!

Typical bloody Leicester.  Using their big shot resources to siphon off our talented players.  Shouldn't be allowed.
Wouldn't have thought it would have anything to do with Zak Chappel's move  - I presume he is coming to the end of his contract at Leicester and will go where suits him. Warwickshire generally don't win contested signings and, by the sound of it, he has loads of offers.
