The quarter final v Australia in live on sky sports from 21:30 tonight. The England side also includes Tom Banton who was in the Warwickshire academy until he moved to Somerset.
While Robert may be bad, Robert is not all Mugabe's.
There are GOOD Mugabe's
It is Warwickshire County Cricket Club!

Looks like it was a bit of a cricketing disaster:

I thought from the headline that the Aussies had benefited from a religious intervention but it's just that old English weakness against leg-spin.

I recorded the game and watched it yesterday. To be honest, I don't think our batsmen were doing that much wrong. The run out was poor and Banton need not have tried a reverse sweep when he was well set but otherwise it was just a superb spell of bowling by Pope, who was dropping the ball on the spot and turning it both ways. I fear we haven't heard the last of him.

That's interesting feedback.  Whilst the last thing England needs is another Shane Warne bowling against them for the next 20 years, top-class leg-spinners are good for the game as a whole.
It will be interesting to see how his career develops.  Good young leg-spinners don't always develop into great bowlers; and young Mr Pope may not find a Terry Jenner to mentor him, as Warne did.
