This may look like an advert... but it may help.....

If you dont have sky or other 'services'.... Anyone who has now tv and is a client of npwr can get a free one weeks sky sports pass so you can watch the match. Google npwr customer offers. My mother in law is a customer of theirs... so she gave me her pass. Im going to the match... so I'll save it.... has to be used by end of year.... so perhaps a test match?

Having just had an operation I am not fit enough to last the day at Edgbaston Saturday. To add to my woes I am staying at non-sky relatives!!!

Can anyone suggest where the day is being televised hopefully in the Solihull area or where it is being shown live on internet as my only solution at moment is following on Crickinfo which is not the same

Use Cricfree and simply close all the adverts
Or on your mobile phone use Mobdro

I have 2 tickets for sale for Sat. Lower Press Box stand, section 16 F, Row C, seats 12 & 13. The face value is £61 but stupidly I paid more than that from Viagogo before I realised there was an allocation for the Bears (which I understand has now sold out). I am happy to sell the pair for £140 which honestly doesn't reflect what I paid for them but I'm happy to let them go at that. If anyone wants them, can you email me at marina.dorward@sky.com. I can pass them on to you Sat. It is an Eticket or send you the link.

Thanks for the heads up on this - I'm an npower customer and I've just redeemed my pass, ready for next season!

In the terms as conditions it says it's valid for 365 days so should be good for next year as well...aren't the Ashes on BT Sport this winter?

Radio 5 just announced that the England players will be released, good news for the Bears having Woakes but probably bad news for Thomason who you would think he will replace.

Good news as far as having Woakes back though I hope he bowls better than he did in the recent Test defeat. It could be OHD or Thomason but the latters lack of bowling (Or lack of confidence in) might mean he misses out but it will still be a bit harsh on a young player who has done well.

Information from the Club about Finals Day and Group stage attendances:
http://www.edgbaston.com/news/record-nat...edgbaston/
"In Birmingham Bears’ road to Finals Day, the club welcomed 61,678 members and supporters for the six 2017 home games, with the average attendance up 18 per cent, year-on-year, to 10,280. The Bears also set a record attendance, for a T20 group game at Edgbaston, of 15,113 for the local derby against Worcestershire Rapids on 4 August."

If ever there was an argument for NOT proceeding with a city-based franchise this report is it. ECB and the 18 counties should build on the continuing growth of the NatWest Blast.

IMO having a city based competition as well will just confuse the public and saturate the market

Yes, not one opinion of the T20 city-based franchise has left me feeling that it is a good idea. You could understand if the T20 Blast was a huge disappointment but the figures overall seem to suggest otherwise. I could see a scenario where people choose one or the other and I know which one I will watch and it will not be the one containing a team with non-Warwickshire players in it.

I missed this first time round - I hope you are recovering well and that the Bears will give you something to cheer about.

Thanks for that Terry. Yes on the mend and very sore but decided would not be able to cope with 12 hours at Edgbaston.
Got SkyGo (forgot this service had been introduced) set up so really looking forward to a day of T20.

I would have Woakes for OHD, and Rankin for Stone

It seems like the T20 Blast has had a successful year across the country:
