Having said all that about the bowling, we should have batted and Elliot should know better. In this situation it is a case of batting first because it is the best option. We batted first v Lancs and although we won, we should have still had a bat first. After the way we chased at Old Trafford, no matter what they make here, Surrey will not be daunted by our line-up.
