Warwickshire v Surrey Edgbaston 21/4

I think Mellor will be giving way for Westwood, Lamb for Hain.

I agree with you on both points Grasscutter, but I notice Adair hasn't bowled an over yet in the 3 Seconds games he played in (though has scored a fair few runs).  I guess he's not fully fit for bowling yet - and it'll be a few weeks before he's ready for the Firsts.

A 50 run partnership for the first wicket, I never thought I'd see the day!

I think it's quite clear with the fact that we have retained the older players for this match after two dismal displays, and Ashley's comments in the week, that we have no one in the youth team banging down the door, despite TGM singing their praises.

The job of the coaching staff this season will be to rally the troops for one last hurrah to keep us in the top tier and go well in the short format with a view to work taking place behind the scenes to sort out the infrastructure which is clearly lacking.

My word, never thought I'd see a 100 opening partnership. An IPL side will sign Ian Westwood at this rate! :P

Another poor score by Belly. Captaincy not suiting him, or is he losing/has lost his edge?

Can't any batsman stay with Westwood - he really is showing the rest the way.
