Prospects for 2017
#21
The current edition of The Cricketer magazine reckons we'll be fourth. It's an interesting edition for us featuring interviews with Ashley, Ian and MJK no less. There's also a letter about scheduling from a disgruntled Warwickshire fan (not me, honest).

CC - Yorks (Bears 3rd)
50 over - Somerset (Bears finalists)
T20 - Bears (Surrey runners up)

Ask me tomorrow and I'll have changed my mind....again! Haha

Here's my prediction, we make a shocking start and@the halfway point are rock bottom & nailed on certainties for relegation, the management then go for broke, blood all this bludgeoning talent from the2ndXL who immediately turn our season around and just miss out on the championship, tall bear is proved correct in the end & milks it for all its worth

I'd suggest someone isn't very good with Roman numerals

Unless he knows of 40 a side cricket :-)
While Robert may be bad, Robert is not all Mugabe's.
There are GOOD Mugabe's
It is Warwickshire County Cricket Club!

Actually, I think XL would represent 40 a side!  Pedantic, moi?

Anyway, here's my preview of the season:
http://deepextracover.com/2017/04/warwic...n-preview/
My predictions are a little vague; so I will firm up on 5th place in the Championship, T20 Finals Day( but maybe losing finalists) and losing quarter finalists in the Royal London.

I wood like two of gone their and elped im.

Seriously I am with this guy. I complained once to Sainsbury's about signs saying "mens". I said men is already the plural otherwise there should be an apostrophe before the S to show possession. Customer Service department did not understand what I was on about and insisted Mens was the plural of Men!!

As for the use of the word OF instead of HAVE ............

There was a really good programme about this guy on Radio Four this morning.  He came across as very likeable and down-to-earth but just happening to have a quirky hobby.

What really grates for me is "your" and "you're". Whenever I see "Your welcome", for example, it makes me feel slightly sick!

Anyway, getting back on topic, my predictions:

Heart:

Championship - Top 3
50 over - winners
T20 - Finals day

Head:

Championship - 5th (at best)
50 over - semi-finals
T20 - 5th in group
