Bob Dylan
#1
Many of us children of the sixties will be delighted that Bob Dylan has been awarded the Nobel Prize for literature. For me, he was one of the great figures of the twentieth century. He may now be happier with his pipe and slippers but back in the day his lyrics and music were a force of nature. Mr Willis and I will no doubt both be raising a glass tonight.

Decent poet, but I can't bear the sound of his singing voice. I prefer finger nails on a blackboard. I realise not everyone feels this way.

No but I would rather have a great song writer than a great voice.
