Popping along after work .... I want to see all these big improvements from Leics that I have been promised. Should be a fine advert for 50 over cricket.

Nice weather too!

Chris Wright has been given the treatment by Taylor. Rocketed them up to 237, valuable runs for them.

He's just got him out but the damage was done, three sixes in the last two overs.

I was going to post why no Chopra after his 97* - but at 139/0 who can argue with the selection!

Highest List A score again for Sam Hain, he's also our leading scorer in all 'white ball' cricket this season.

Great knock again by Sam. Also by our international superstar globetrotter, WP.

Nice to see Evans in the runs, needs to do it when the chips are down as well though.

Excellent bowling by Boyd and an exemplary run chase by Sam and Billy.

Also I would like to praise Ian Bell's captaincy. He mixed up his bowlers really well and stopped the batsmen getting settled against a particular bowler. Also, when we got a breakthrough he kept the pressure on and kept men in catching positions- he was rewarded with two Rikki Clarke slip catches.

Also a really good move to send in Laurie in order to get some time at the crease.

Tougher test today, though!

Certainly tougher, especially on a wicket with 400 being below par  Biggrin

Jones and Javid replace Wright and Rankin,Bell wins toss, bears bowling

Jeets aside, I don't see many wickets in that bowling attack.

Hopefully we aren't set too many to chase.

I'm guessing it follows the successful chase yesterday, they have clearly forgotten the woeful chase against Lancs.

Turned to Jeets early doors.

81/0 from 13 and Lumb and Wessels taking Jones and OHD to the cleaners.

Most definitely. They are having a field day with the bat currently. 55 from the last 5 overs.

Just hoping that it is due to the wicket playing the same as it did the other day and par is a high score.
