South Africa v England 2016

overall it's still a lot better than this time last year at the world cup and if it had not of been for poor fielding on friday and a player who played the innings of his life we would of won the series

Yes, we are better, but that shouldn't stop the team & management working to be the as competitive as they can be.
By limiting yourself to only playing in one way you are not giving yourself the opportunity to get the best possible results in all conditions. Successful teams have the ability to adjust their play to meet the conditions.

Another batting collapse in the second T20 international from England, yet again the England team failed to adapt to the batting conditions.

If you only play one way, you are limiting the chances to succeed.

To lose by 9 wickets with over a quarter of the overs left is an overwhelming defeat, and means England have lost 5 of the 7 white ball games against South Africa, mostly by convincing margins.

It is time for the England management to have a serious rethink about their tactics, selections and leadership.

Well they have to stick with the positive approach. No good going backwards. Selection was wrong.

There is a difference between playing positively and failing to adapt their game to the conditions, which is what happened with England in South Africa. I agree that there were errors in the selections, but that is always the case with England, especially as some players seem to be selected when their performances do not justify a place in the side.
