The Future of County Cricket
Only heard brief bits of this but am I right in thinking that from 2020, no overseas players will play in the 50 over competition whatever it might be called by then.

You don't need to wait until 2020 to experience the joys of The Hundred:

It would seem that there is no such thing as a free Hundred and it's the women who have to pay some of the price:

There is actually a very successful Sunday Cricket league covering most of Warwickshire, the Arden Sunday League, that provides both 40 over and T20 cricket for 40 sides throughout the season.
For most clubs involved, it allows them to give their young players a great introduction into open age cricket.

Even more important is what has not been revealed - the ECB website says that:
Within their meeting the ECB Board agreed next steps for:
  • A new five-year strategy for the game
  • The County Partnership Agreement (CPA)
  • Playing conditions for the New Competition
  • A new structure for current County competitions
Other than the information about The Hundred, none of this is going to be disclosed until the New Year.

A very telling stat that and shows up again what a mess Graves and company have made of the once great game, pity Clare Connor ruled herself out of running men's cricket but who can blame her? The women's game goes from strength to strength whilst the men's sinks to an all time low
