Yes that is very encouraging news.

I see Somerset's Leach is in the Lions 4-day squad. Perhaps that will give us an idea as to whether he could have cut it in India.

Josh made his debut for the England Lions ODI side in the first game of their series in Sri Lanka.
While Robert may be bad, Robert is not all Mugabe's.
There are GOOD Mugabe's
It is Warwickshire County Cricket Club!

Very pleased that Josh has been recognised in this way.

Good to see that Josh got a second game for the Lions and took his first international wicket:

Some players seem to land on top of Mount Everest by helicopter, others like Josh get there the hard way, step by step.

Pleased though I was to see Dominic Sibley bowling such decent leg-spin against the Rapids last night, my heart sank for Josh Poysden.  He has already dropped behind Sunny Singh in the four day selection stakes.  If Sibley is to bowl regularly, I don't see any way back into the one-day teams for Josh, bearing in mind that Dominic get in the team as a batter and Josh is very much a tail-ender.
It would be a great shame if he had to go elsewhere.  But having battled his way into the Lions side in the winter, he really needs first team cricket.

I know that when he played for Gordon, they thought very highly of him.
I think that 2018 will be a key season for Josh.  He really needs first team cricket.

He really does need to push on in 2018 - seems like he disappeared this year.
