Tim Groenewald

Not sure what is happening here with our ex-player:
http://www.ecb.co.uk/news/articles/groen...is-own-way
According to the Derby Telegraph:
"He is in the last year of his contract and has been talking to Derbyshire about a new deal but Groenewald has also attracted the interest of at least four other counties. As a gesture of goodwill, the club waived its right under ECB rules for 28 days’ notice to allow the player to speak to those other counties."

The official Derbyshire release suggests they are concentrating on developing young players.
While Robert may be dead, Robert was not all Mugabe's.

I think he has done a good job for Somerset - never let them down.  Best of luck to him at Kent.

With the battery of seam bowlers Somerset have got, TG has not been an automatic pick for a couple of seasons. Still, as a squad player, he has appeared in about half the games in all formats, doing a very useful job. We could have done worse than entice him back to Edgbaston.

Agreed - and as far as I can recall, he has stayed fit!
