Control is a great film.

cant disagree there val never thought to much about joy division till i met paul the only song i remembered was love will tear us apart untill i watched control and some of the songs game flooding back transmission.
i put the movie up their with the sound of music lol

Atmosphere was realised as an ep with Dead Souls as the B side which was frequently played by John Peel. Atmosphere is a great song but personally prefer Dead souls as its even darker and has that 3 minute intro. You have to listen to the closer Album as they really had developed musically by then. Anyway I have this documentary dvd for you Pete which has some real good live footage of the group and features people like Pete Shelley of the Buzzcocks as well as the other three members of the group as well as Tony Wilson.

Which one was it Little Pete, did I give you Sawdust? Altough I know little about them what stands out to me is the variety they have. I do like that version of Mr Brightside on the Swadust album.
