William Porterfield
Indeed, especially with this type of injury
While Robert may be bad, Robert is not all Mugabe's.
There are GOOD Mugabe's
It is Warwickshire County Cricket Club!

Exactly, to put a timescale on this is silly.

The most important thing is that he recovers and can rehabilitate so that he can life a pain free normal life, been able to play professional sport again would be a bonus. His long term well being is the most important thing for Jim & his family.

His 'wonderful' form continued, with a duck against a weak Worcestershire team in a warm up game in the UAE on Friday.

Interesting analysis of the performance of the Ireland team in the ICC T20, Will Porterfield doesn't come out of this very well.

Let's hope that this isn't a major issue and can be sorted:

Cricinfo had similarly few details. I really hope everything's OK and that it's as minor a problem as it could possibly be, but a player leaving a tour for personal reasons never sounds good.

Not sure what the problem was; but good to see him back and top scoring for Ireland:

I've certainly had my doubts about Will Porterfield as a red ball cricketer but there is no doubt that tomorrow will be a proud day for him as he captains Ireland in their first official Test Match. Congratulations and best wishes for a successful event at Malahide.
