Yorkshire v Warwicks
#1
No report on the Bears' website, but there is on Yorkshire's ! Yorkshire were 199 all out with the triallist off-spinner Paul McMahon taking 6-43. Bears were 38-2 at close with James and Parker out cheaply.

Thats McMahon who was at Notts?

Our under 17's got a huge score V derby yesterday - well over 400 in a day I think - with noone getting a 100. Thats good.

Yes I saw him at Warmley and he impressed me. I asked Keith Piper what he thought of him. He said he looked ok. I would say that its more important we try and secure the services of a young offspinner who takes wickets than a batting all-rounder like Barker.

On the third day, Bears made 192 all out (Piolet 48), and Yorkshire closed on 58-5 (Daggett and Groenewald took 2 each, Tahir the other one).

I might be wrong but I get the impression Piolet has consistently got runs for the seconds. Am I right? Anyone seen him who can comment?
