Chris Woakes
Absolutely magnificent performance from him, was good with the ball also. Shame he ran out of time to get the 100 really but he is becoming undroppable in all formats for England now.

Fantastic from Woakesy. Fast becoming one of our most important players at that level.

Yes he is which makes it baffling why Cook has chosen to open the bowling with Ball instead of Woakes.

Fantastic game for him. Deserves to finish on the winning side. But will he?

I had started to think that it would never quite happen for Chris at international level but he has been superb this season. We knew how good he could be and now he's had the chance to show everybody else. Even Geoff Boycott was singing his praises on TMS. Now let's have a Test century!

Shame the batsmen are completely letting him down here.

Abysmal from Ali. Deserves dropping for that shot alone.

It was a terrible shot but if you dropped players for brainless shots everytime then you'd be changing players all the time. I think England lost it first innings when they let Shah bowl them out on a wicket that didn't spin.

Chris Woakes is now centrally contracted for both red and white ball cricket:

Ian Bell drops of the centrally contracted list.

Sold in the IPL auction for £504,140! Very pleased for him, but it means that we'll now have to manage without him for even more of the season!
