This will surprise no-one: Younis Khan will tour Windies with Pakistan and therefore miss start of county season 4 Warwickshire

GET RID, Ashley.

All of them I hope. Hes a liar. Texted Ashley only last week saying he would be here all season apparently.

Waste of space and time.

Rather not have one at all (*startles self really a lot *) than Pinnochio Khan.

Bloody hell we go on enough about mercenaries (I Hate it when CP says that) and then we unearth King Merc.

OUT! OUT! OUT!

ahem.

I presume that if he goes to West Indies he breaks the contract so there is no problem in the Bears not honouring it and looking for an alternative. The problem will be finding the right person. Now that nice Vaughn van Jaarsveld is in good form:

I'd hope the clubs lawyers are examining the contract very closely to find grounds to sue him for damages as a result of his very obvious breach, the fact that he told the club two weeks ago that he would be here all season shows a degree of deliberate dishonesty in his actions.

We definitely should tell him he services aren't required, ever.

I'd say he's joined a very select group with Mark Badbatch of people who have shown themselves to be totally unfit to be associated with the club.

Knowledgable Surery fan on Younis:

" He was decent for us in the CC, but utterly useless in T20. Never looked that bothered in any format though."

Yes if he doesn't change his mind we should cancel the contract and look at getting someone else in if possible. If not just look to sign someone for the t20.

Completely agree with you. Not wishing to say, "I told you so"; I DID tell you so ! We should cancel his contract NOW and sign up Dalrymple immediately as his replacement - and try and find a decent uncontracted overseas player - preferably for all competitions, but at least for the T20.

Neither are in the class of Younis tbh, it's a shame.
