Yes lets hope he has a better season than last season

It doesnt mean anything if he has another season like this year.
He has to find the form he had in his first two seasons at Warks, otherwise he is just a liability.
Jury is out with him.

I suspect he is well aware of that hhb.If he gets his personal life sorted out & his head back into gear it will be like signing a new player.
He's a good batsman but above all he is a top gloveman.

Interesting interview by Brian Halford with Tim here:

Let's hope the personal troubles (whatever they were) are behind him now.

Good interview that.

Im a huge fan of Tim (c.Ambrose b.N.Tahir is as good as it gets for me) so I too hope it all works out. Big praise to Ashley as well by the sound of it.

It was a good long article in last nights evening mail about Tim by Brian Halford. Although Tim didnt talk about the circumstances of his troubles, his personal problems were obviously too great for him to perform anywhere near his potential last season. Hopefully he has put these problems behind him and will perform as we know he can do next season.

It takes a lot of guts to be as honest as he has been in this article - I admire that and hope he can resurrect his career.

I met him on Saturday and he seems very upbeat, he is off to Aus in a couple of days.

Its excellent news to hear Tim will be back next year and well done to Ashley for signing him up again. Its always seemed unbelievable that we could think of letting such a talented player go. After last seasons batting displays it would seem bizarre to let the only player to figure twice in our all time Highest Wicket Partnerships for Each Wicket go. He holds the record for the 5th and the 6th wickets. Not a bad performance in 5 seasons to out do Lara, Kanhai, Amiss etc etc in my opinion:thumbup:

Yes good luck to Tim. I'm curious Scotsbear who that batsman was he shared the record 5th wicket partnership with? I think it was a cricketer that many people wrote off last season as well. They also shared in a major partnership at Worcester in which Tim very nearly broke the record the highest score by a Warwickshire wicket-keeper help by Humpage. Actually he should have done, I believe we declared...

Paul,

I'm sure you know who that 5th wicket partner was, the new Bears captain of course. Good Luck to him.

Though its what all pros say, I bet he doesnt really welcome the competition from Tim! Secretly Richard would be far happer if his main rival was an 18 year old keeper from the Geraint Jones school of juggling, Im sure.
