You are right Terry runs into English domestic season by three weeks, Not though it matters now.

Trott didnt get a contract, most likely because of the Bangla tour which would mean he would only be available for 2/3 weeks.

As well as this, IPL to be free this year, shown on Youtube!

FREE ??? To spectators? Whats that all about? Puzzleing!
Nice gesture, but anything for nowt aint worth having. Put a value on the product - couple of rupees - a token amount - but nothing??????

In England - KIDS FOR A QUID - better than free admission! Really.

Warwickshire Bears - County Champions 2012:thumbup:

Leicester Tigers - THE team:thumbup:

Yeah but you can do this on youtube...

Quote:The most significant aspect of the deal is the amount of control it gives the viewers, who will be able to customise their viewing experience by choosing between different camera angles. Additionally they will be able to freeze, fast-forward and rewind the feed, as well as watch replays at any time during the day, a choice that is unavailable to television viewers who are bound by broadcast schedules.

Trott left out of England's warm up game. is that the writing on the wall that he wont figure in Englands one day sides. Not sure what the need for Prior in the side is. Certainly dont agree with Cook being in the side ahead of Trott.

Shouldnt be with 87 and 52 in two of his last three innings. Hopefully they are just giving others a game. I like Matt Prior as the test keeper but to play him as a specialist gloveman batting down the order in one days is north of bonkers.

I love the way theyve spent time making keepers like Prior and the Juggler who dont open, open. And then when they find a keeper who does open, they dont let him keep.

Cook fits the tradition of one day captains who shouldnt be in the one day team which is one of the keys to our amazing one day success.

Yes I just question it Kim because surely Trott needs some time in the middle as well. What amazes me they bring in one south african born cricketer and leave out another. How dare they!

I think we have another warm up game Thursday which I would imagine Trotty will play in. I'm with Kim in that he really should be in the side however I can see him not being in it. His ODI performances in South Africa were very good for me and to now play two Wicket Keepers in the side when we have one and a very good Batsman in Craig Kieswetter is ridiculous. By accomodating him, leaving out Prior and playing Trott makes us look very, very strong indeed. No doubt those picking the side will balls it up yet again, however listening to Flower yesterday suggests Prior's place could well be at risk.

"And maybe there is also work to do with the now-dropped Trott; a swift fall for one whose absence, post-Ashes-century, at the Champions Trophy was so widely lamented. “It’s amazing how quickly cricket changes in terms of selection,” admitted Cook yesterday. “It’s nothing personal, but at the moment we just feel this is the way to go.”

Yes, but Trott’s unfathomably slow and, dare I say it, selfish 39 from 51 balls in the second Twenty20 against Pakistan in Dubai has counted heavily against him. It cost England the game. It showed a cricketer with his mental game in disarray. I genuinely worry about him now.

Cook might argue that “Trotty’s a very tough character”, but the equanimity of the Oval is long gone. The complexities of his character are becoming more manifest. The South Africans knew they could get to him – there were simply too many tales of hot-headedness floating around Cape Town. And they did.

Trott must brood, while Cook fulfils a strange, seat-warming role. “I’m desperate to show people I can play one-day cricket,” Trott said yesterday. Doubtless he is, but the prospect of him and Strauss in the same ODI side is as unthinkable as England losing any of the three matches, starting on Sunday. "

Steve James in the DT.

So Trottys 87, 9 and 52 not out V SA in the ODIs isnt good enough? Ok. England must be some team.

He has been made a scapegoat. Its rediculous he should just have been given a ticking off for batting slowly. Hes got much better one day record than Cook or Prior. Anyway let these guys fill their boots against Bangladesh and poor Trott misses out on easy runs just like last year with Bell and the Windies.
