The Naqaash Tahir Appreciation Thread

I've always liked Saj Mahmood - now I really like him after hes was bowled to become the Naqster's 100th First class wicket today.

Congrats Naqii!

Our soon to be out of contract quickie is:

*the leading wicket taker this season at the club (16 at the moment in FC games)

* has the best two cc analyses of the season

*averages 40 in the CC with the bat

* has a CC bowling average of 17 this year . For reference only, our other 5 bowlers in this match average betweeN just over 50 and over 70.

The lad is a star.

No more messing about Ashley plz.

Give him a contract.

Before someone like Worcs come around.

His bowling against Sussex, England and again today. proves what he has to offer, if he can stay fit he will be a very useful addition to our bowling attack. I have always rated him. But I am a bit biased. He has been one of my favoutites for ages. What great stats Kim, thanks.

I don't think there has ever been any doubt about his ability, but maybe about his work ethic and he has been 'high maintainence'.

If I was in charge I'd be tempted to put the offer of a new contract on the table, heavily incentiveised, so that the more he performs the better he is rewarded. On his current for he deserves to be offered a new contract, however I'd like him to maintaine that form and his fitness for teh rest of the season to prove it will be a good investment for the club.

Yes Tall Bear, stay fit stay in the team and help lead the attack. I know we can't wrap him in cottonwool, but manage him and get your rewards!

Amended chorus goes:

'Yey Naqqi say the Bears folks, it goes to show that class will just tell'.

There'll be dancing in the streets of Oswestry tonight!

DD thats not a pretty sight, can't see any resemblance a-tall mind you can't see it in Kims either. I can't do the twist my knees are shot.

Sillyness apart, we can't loose him, he is just in the right groove and just at the right age.

Oh yes we can lose him. As I say Worcester have lost Jones and have Kent after thier young seamer, Whelan. Id be amazed if they didnt think about approaching him.
