Aston Villa, and other football teams!

Is that just speculation Kim. Is he any good! I know we are likely to sign Stephen Warnock

He's one of the best ginger haired players around, Paul.
Not that he's got that much left after 3 years at West Ham.

MoN was apparently at Upton park on Sunday watching him**. I like him - hes brilliant in the air and a good old fashioned stopper. Not quick or very good with the ball so its important you have a quick player alongside him. But we've got a potential England centre back coming through in Tomkins so we can affoird to let him go.

More profit from Villa on Pardew's buys

** Or Upson of course Angry

Ok hes got to be better than Zat Kinight anyway and he will no doubt be cover for Cuellar and Davies. I still think Reo was a bargain when you look at current prices... We need some ginger players...... I think Sidwell is ginger isnt he...

Im not sure why he would go for Collins. Surely Dunn is a done deal. Maybe we need a 4th centre half as backup with Davies likely to have an op soon.

Very tight Derby. Viila deserved it because they looked to win the game wheras Blues were happy to get a draw. Impressed with Collins and Dunne at the back. They dealt with everything coming into the box.

Yes, Paul, not a very nice thing to say but team looks better without Emile Heskey.

Very poor........

Havent teams learnt the lessons of the last few years....... you've got to go for it to stay up. I am still haunted by Villa v Fulham a few seasons ago. Neither team wanted to loose.......... and it was terrible. Teams who get wins under their belts stand more of a chance. This year is a very poor premiership........... half the table are releagtion candidates; so Blues have a great oppotunity to stay up.............. they just have to have the ball$ and will to do so.

Paul Franks was trying to sell the idea that survival in the greed league is more important than winning against Villa; but wasn't getting many people to agree with him. I agree with you about going for the win - it is just a pity that teams in many sports seem to think that the most important thing is not losing.

Im not I agree that its a very poor Premiership this season. I think already looks far more open. and there were loads of goals this weekend. Obviously theres a lot of teams that look like they are going to struggle, but we still get the odd upset like Burnley against Man United.
