Aston Villa, and other football teams!
Which levels out to having the right amount of information

This is a really interesting interview about the development of young players and the structures and processes involved.
Yes, it is a Birmingham City video, but the interview has a lot of information that is valid for other clubs, and indeed sports in general.

To misquote Oscar Wilde, "To lose one manager in a season is unfortunate, to lose two is careless"

Hopefully his lawyers got the maximum compensation for him, he deserves it.

Two is pretty good going by our standards, we normally seem to get through 3 a season (7 managers in 27 months!)

about a million i think which for 4 months work is rediculous. Terrible choice, we all knew that he wouldn't last the season. Pearson? hopefully someone who can get us promotion next season.

actually we have now had 4 managers this season if you count the caretaker ones.

How about a McLeish/Bruce/Lee Clarke 'dream team' ?

Or, Steve McLaren is out of work!

That would so wind up bitter&twisted  blue noses but it's a quick escape out of the mug's league  for him

I think it is more likely to wind up bitter and twisted villains - remember McLeish!! Also I don't think Rowett wants relegation to appear on his CV.

A solid home performance today for Villa. Only 4 goals and one red card.

Blues need a win today, or the playoffs will fade into the distance. Shame we conceded the equaliser so quickly after going ahead.

Looks like next week it will be confirmed

With the goal diff at Norwich -21 and Villa -40 I think we can sing the old Stones' song "It's all over now"
